Zora Stanik

This ceramic piece was created as a representation of my childhood, as a physical embodiment of my framing and roots. Everything from the tree-bark carvings to the token engravings represents who I am and who I was. This small ceramic jewelry box is static in its composition, but its compartments are dynamic, always holding new trinkets and memories. This work is my figurative cave, glazed by fire, leaving critical shadows etched into its surface.
