About the Artwork
Between what we reveal and conceal lies a space of uncertainty. Fissure explores the coexistence of our public and private selves, and how perception constructs versions of others and ourselves. Its two faces represent not opposing identities, but simultaneous conditions: the visible and hidden, the composed and vulnerable, the known and imagined.
