Ramathillai Chockalingam

Growing up, I always believed that eyes never lie. That belief became the concept behind this project. These images were documented during an interview process between me and each subject, where questions surfaced different memories, emotions, and feelings. Subjects didn’t have to share their experiences aloud unless they wanted to — they could simply think about them. Each frame captured that private moment, along with my interpretation of how I perceived it.
